Introduction:

Sri Sarathi Institute of Engineering and Technology established Centre for Industrial Collaboration ( CIC ) in the year 2003. The Centre effectively interacts with Industries through various innovative and unique programs to impart Application Knowledge to the Students and Faculty.SARATHI Group of Institutions took its shape and form from the fore-sight and innovative thoughts of its founder chairman Late Sri S. V. Partha Sarathi Rao Garu. A gold medalist from Andhra University in Mechanical Engineering, he devoted his time and talent to set up a good English medium School, a B.Ed. college an M.B.A college and an Engineering college under the banner SARATHI GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS in his home town, NUZVIDU.

Training And Placement Cell

The department of Training and Placement works effectively as it is led by the senior staff members as coordinators. It imparts training in communication skills, soft skills, reasoning, (arithmetic and verbal). The department regularly invites the experts and arranges guest lectures on the above said areas and personality development. The college puts best efforts for organizing campus placements by inviting the renowned corporate companies. The college is happy to inform that quite a good number of our students are placed in reputed companies through campus recruitments.

Internet Connection:

70 mbps internet supply is provided throughout college. The students make use of this facility to upgrade their knowledge in all the subjects of their course. It is extremely helpful and useful to the students who are working on their projects and R&D activities.

Extra Curricular Activities:

As education is intended for the all round development of a student, the institution takes every measure to improve the skills of students not only in curricular activities but also extracurricular activities. An NSS Unit is established in the college with 100 volunteers.

Ragging Free Campus:

Anti Ragging Committeeconstitute senior staff, student representatives, parents and police personnel as ex-officio members to curb effectively ragging in the college premises. The institution is proud of saying that there has been no single incident of ragging and its traces in the college. The committee also strives hard to promote healthy and amicable relations between seniors and juniors.

Hostel Facilities:

The college provides separate hostels facility for boys and girl students which can accommodate 250 students per each. They facilitatesafe and secured accommodation, hygienic environment and homelyatmosphere forpeaceful study. The hostels providesolar water heater, mineral water and dining facility in homely environment.

Transportation:

The institution runs buses from Vijayawada, Gudivada, Visannapet, Mylavaram, tiruvuru, gannavaram, G-konduru and Eluru. In addition to the college buses, APSRTC runs separate buses exclusively for students who come from Vijayawada, Mylavaram, Hanuman Juncion, Visannapet and adjacent villages.

Canteen

The college has a canteen run by an authorized contractor catering at reasonable rates. Regular check is made to maintain the quality of food.
